Standard non-/semi-destructive inspections for the assessment of a building’s load-bearing structural elements. Accurate measurements & reports.
The quality control of materials is a necessary prerequisite for the structural study of an existing building. The inspections we carry out are as follows:
The documentation is carried out with precision electronic distometers for the accurate dimensions of the structural elements and their position. In the case of complex and large constructions or absence of an approved structural study, a 3D scan of the building is performed with a high-precision 3D laser scanner to minimize measurement errors and assist the designer in the subsequent structural analysis of the building.
Reinforcement detection allows us to create a 3D map of the reinforcement bars located in the structural elements of the construction (columns, beams, and slabs) as well as the concrete cover over them.
The measurement of the surface hardness of concrete is carried out with the Concrete Test Hammer HT-225.
The measurement of moisture in the concrete indicates the level of moisture and the possible corrosion of the reinforcing steel.
