Goals & Approach
We designed a resilient, low-energy home with clean lines, controlled solar gains and strong continuity between indoor and outdoor living. The scheme balances safety, energy efficiency and refined aesthetics, fully compliant with planning requirements.
Structural & Seismic Design
- Reinforced-concrete frame to EC2/EC8 with fire-resistance detailing.
- Optimised foundations for local soils and settlement control.
- Engineered fixings for shading/pergolas considering wind and thermal actions.
Envelope & Energy
- Insulated envelope (ETICS), high-performance windows, airtightness and external shading.
- Non-combustible or fire-retardant exterior finishes and fire-rated openings where required.

MEP & Sustainability
- Heat-pump HVAC, DHW, and ventilation with heat recovery where appropriate.
- PV-ready provision, low-energy LED lighting.

Full reconstruction permit, coordination of trades, rebar/pour inspections and frequent progress reports to the owner with photographic records.
